About PrisonBards.com
The goal of the Blogsboro Network is to highlight as many creative people as is possible. With the help of families and friends of those who are currently in prisons and those who have recently been released from prison, PrisonBards.com is a means of highlighting those writers the rest of us rarely see.
If you are a family member or friend of someone who is in prison and would like to share that person's poems and stories with the world please consider the following:
1. You must secure permission(s) from the original author(s) before you submit that person's poems or stories.
2. While we wish we could afford to pay for submissions currently we cannot and do not pay for submissions. But, if it is allowed by the prison administration we will mail back unused postage stamps, envelopes and paper to those prisoners whose submissions we publish.
3. Because we do not pay for submissions we will remove any poem or story upon request. We hope publication in PrisonBards.com gets you attention from major publishing houses and we promise not to stand in the way of your possible success.
4. Editing is very light with our preference being not to edit submissions but we reserve the right to edit submissions when we feel editing is absolutely necessary. That said, we think our audience understands that most submissions come from amateurs so editing will not usually be a concern.
5. Submissions should be sent via e-mail to idleblogs (AT) yahoo.com with the words, "PrisonBards.com Submission" in the e-mail header. Submissions may also be sent to:
Blogsboro.com

6. While we prefer typed submissions we will accept hand written submissions provided we can read them.
