Dec 7, 2007 at 02:47PM I'm so embarrassed, and I have to admit it here, as if in a confessional. James Hynes, my favorite author and writer of Kings of Infinite Space and The Lecturer's Tale, both reviewed here, now has a web site. So I wanted to contact him. Unfortunately, there's no email link (probably to keep spammers out), so I left a comment on one of his posts. I kept gettting an error every time I tried to comment, and so I kept trying to post it. After a refresh, I saw that my comment had appeared 10 times. At first, I thought it was too long. Then I thought including the website address for Blogsboro and jazzzytina.com might be causing the error.
Here I am, a big fan, and now I look like a spammer because there's 10 comments out there (well, 11, including the apology).
Mr. Hynes, if you stop by here, please know that I never meant to do that. And I can't begin to tell you how much I enjoy your writing.
Everyone, please buy James Hynes's books for the holidays. And visit Mr. Hynes' web site and read all his great reviews and essays. You will not be disappointed.
