Today.com: Roll Another One Just Like The Other One

It's not that it's a bad thing it's just that it's nothing new. A few days ago I started noticing a few referrals from Today.com in my site logs so I decided to see what it was.

I'm happy to say Today.com is not in the business of referral spam. Often I discover pings from other websites that aren't really links but when I followed the link back to Today.com I discovered my very own website in a frame. That is... Well, look for yourself so I don't have to explain frames.

I'm not sure where I stand on frames. I'm always happy to get more real traffic-- something Today.com is doing-- but frames... Still, frames aren't that big of an issue and I had more important issues to discover like are the owners of Today.com running a scraper site that steals content from other websites?

I was happy to learn that Today.com is in compliance with copyright rules and regulations in the US. Canada and most other countries and they don't appear to be stealing anyone's content. I also noticed they also offer free blogs, video hosting and a search feature. Today.com is owned by a Canadian company, Amosely Corporation, which appears to own over 9000 other domains but seems to be relatively unknown in the search engines.

Too bad this new site is already googledicted and too bad they seem to stay about 6 weeks behind in their latest blog results. Seems like a waste of a perfectly good domain name.

What a coincidence. I was just reading that poem last night. My favorite Shelley poem is Good-Night, and I love R. Browning's Meeting at Night. I went into the attic and dug out my set of Viking Book of Poetry of the English Speaking World.
To the matter at hand, I don't exactly have stance on frames. It would appear as though your blog is under the Today.com URL to an unsuspecting visitor (me), but seems harmless. Intellectual capital of blogs is something to dive into I guess.
