For well over a year now my friend, Sean Coon, has been putting together the pieces to launch the Dot Matrix Project. Beginning next month the Dot Matrix Project will go from the Blogosphere to downtown Greensboro and back to the Blogosphere with videos, podcasting, blogging and every other way Sean, brother Andy Coon and company can dream up to promote everything and everyone involved.

One of the people involved in the Dot Matrix Project is Team Blogsboro's own Danny Bayer of SpudKat.com. Besides being a blogger, photographer, freelance journalist and a musician, Danny manages a recording studio for a local artist collective known locally as the Collective.

It's the hope of those involved in the Dot Matrix Project to put Greensboro's real creative class into the world spotlight so that the people can finally do what our local government can neither do nor grasp. You can bet that those of us in the Blogsboro Network will be pulling for Sean, Andy and the rest of the Dot Matrix Project.
