Saturday, March 29th Noon – 6 pm!
We are pleased to announce that the Tate Street Spring festival this year will be in the theme of an old-tyme carnivale. As in years past, we will have art vendors and music playing in the streets from noon until 6pm for the enjoyment of the great crowd of people that attend every year. The day will consist of performances from some of the state's most well-known dance performers, including
The Emberellas and the
Three Graces. This year we plan to bring even more entertainment to the festival with carnivale games, jugglers, puppets and the works!
We are still accepting arts vendors on a first come basis.
If you are interested in participating in ANY way, Contact Jaime Coggins @ 336.314.0715.
Join us to celebrate the arts and enjoy a day planned to please all!

This year Trotter Books will be having an art sale and record dubbing booth. Have a favorite record you've always wanted on cd? Take this opportunity and bring it to Tate street and have it digitally rerecorded. Orders will be taken then. There will also be a collection of rare music up for sale. Also check out the great local art display of Elizabeth Alma Lustig, and the hand crafted local jewelry from Peggy Rainey. Up and coming artist Michael Trotter will also be showing samples of his work.
they won't cancel it because of a little rain, will they?
I donno, Sam. Have you ever played an electric guitar or grabbed a microphone in the rain? You won't do it a second time.
