My hometown of Greensboro, North Carolina is known far and wide for our bloggers-- especially since the Los Angeles Times renamed our city, Blogsboro, but did you know that Blogsboro is also a center of poetry worldwide? From former United States Poet Laureate,
Randall Jarrell, to former North Carolina Poet Laureate,
Fred Chappell, and many more, poetry has always been at home in Greensboro with Greensboro being the home to dozens of award winning poets and thousands of poetry fans.
Poetry of all forms is alive, well, and growing in Greensboro so I thought I’d begin a list of the online resources available here in Greensboro. Also, located below is a listing of Greensboro poets who maintain websites and/or blogs as well as places where you can enjoy poetry in Greensboro.
