Homemade Jamz Blues Band
Perhaps you saw America's youngest Blues band, the Homemade Jamz Blues Band (link to video) when they debuted on CBS news? Without a doubt, Ryan, Kyle & Taya Perry ages 15, 13 and 9 are Blues greats even if they do still have to get their parents to drive them to their gigs.
With their first CD to be released in June of this year the trio has already played shows like the famous Ground Zero Blues Club, Clarksdale, MS., Club Ebony, Indianola, MS., Club Superior, Beale St., Memphis, WC Handy Blues Festival, Florence, AL., Chicago Blues Festival, The Harvest Jazz & Blues Festival, Canada, The Legendary Rhythm & Blues Cruise and more. In 2007 they captured 2nd place in the 23rd International Blues Challenge competing against 157 of the greatest Blues bands in the world.
If your club or festival is interested in booking the Homemade Jamz Blues Band it just so happens that my friend Tina Terry of North Carolina's premier booking agency, Piedmont Talent, is arranging limited bookings for the Homemade Jamz Blues Band with dates available in mid August of 2008 near or in route to Wilmington, Delaware.
