Free Inbound Links

I promised you I would help you get more traffic and higher page rank for your poetry blog.

One of the ways you can accomplish this is through more inbound links. I get inbound links anywhere I can without crossing over into spamming. One site that has served me well for 5 or more years is Instant Directory which allows you to set up a free search directory page. (Look to the bottom of the page.)

The cool thing about Instant Directory is that you might also earn some money via their free services. Instant Directory doesn't pay you but you are allowed to upload your own affiliate banners to the free page they let you build. Your banner will then go into a 1 on 1 rotation with their banner so that you and Instant Directory share the ad views 50-50.

WhyNotAd.com is another I discovered just today. I'm still a bit confused about how it's supposed to work but there might be something to it. My recommendation is to make sure the photo you upload has your URL on it. It appears I'm the first poet there so you have the chance to get in early.
