Billy The Blogging Poet On Nationwide Television Tonight!
My nationwide television debut is tonight in Canada at 7pm & 11pm on Daily Planet on the Discovery Channel. It will also re-air tomorrow morning at 9am and 12pm. Sorry for the late notice, I just tuned in from the J-O-B to find the message in my inbox.
Sometime tomorrow Canadian viewers should also be able to watch the show online. To my knowledge there are no plans to air this program in the US.
Readers local to Greensboro will be able to view my copy of the DVD after I get it in my hands. As for the rest of you who are unable to view it, I'm sorry, it's not anything I can control.
My thanks to Lori Belanger, her photographer, Ross and Discovery Canada for making this happen.
And to our first time Canadian readers-- Welcome to the Blogsboro Network and we thank you for stopping by.
Ruby James And Lee Tyler Post Coming To Triad
My friend, Lee Tyler Post has gotten several mentions on this blog over the course of the last few years but he's certainly scored big this time as he's appearing this weekend at the Bistro 150 in Oak Ridge, North Carolina with none other than Ms Ruby James.
That the Bistro 150 located in the shopping center on NC 150 and NC 68 in Oak Ridge, North Carolina this Saturday night beginning at 8 PM until closing. This is the show you'll not want to miss.
Be sure to tell 'em you read about it on Blogsboro.com.
Janet Installed The World Class Poetry Toolbar
You see, Allen and I wanted our toolbar users to get the most they could from our toolbars so we networked both of them together to allow our readers (Many of whom are the same) to give all of you a better toolbar experience. To see all the features we offer one only needs switch from one to the other simply by clicking on the plus link at the far left end of whichever toolbar you happen to be using so no matter if you're downloading the Blogsboro Toolbar or the World Class Poetry Toolbar you can be sure we're doing our best to make it the best it can be.
Unofficial 2008 ConvergeSouth Dinner
I'll be attending ConvergeSouth this year just as I've attended ConvergeSouth every year to date. I might even attend Blogher on Sunday and while I wouldn't miss the Friday night barbecue for anything in the world I'll not be attending the Saturday night dinners in downtown Greensboro as the venues chosen are always too costly for my meager means.
Instead, I'll be dining in my backyard that night and anyone who attends ConvergeSouth is invited to come dine with me. I can't afford to feed all of you but if you'd like to share my backyard with my chickens, earthworms and I then all you need to do is pitch-in on the cost of hamburgers, hot dogs and other foods cooked on the grill. I promise the tomatoes will be fresh from the garden.
My home is easy to find (the only house in town with a biplane in the front yard) and only about 3 miles (5-10 minutes) from A&T University where the weekend's events will be taking place. Send an e-mail to idleblogs (AT) yahoo.com if you're interested.

Blogsboro Gets A Makeover
In anticipation of next Monday's visit from The Discovery Channel, Blogsboro.com and the Blogsboro Network are getting a makeover. You might have already noticed our new banner and a change in coloration but that's just the beginning.
Our in-house graphics pro,Tina, and the rest of Team Blogsboro are busy behind the scenes working on the site and talking with potential advertising customers as we prepare for not only The Discovery Channel but the chance to become the most widely read and wildly popular Internet property in all of North Carolina.
Soon, every publication in the State of North Carolina will be trying to figure out what we've done but as I've told several newspaper editors the answer is in that box on top of your desk or the laptop you're reading right now.
All this as we usher in Web 3.0 and the death of Web 2.0 sharecropping.
Sneak Preview
In getting ready for our appearance on The Discovery Channel we decided a new banner was in order. This will look great behind our airplane.
