Art lovers and animal lovers come together online as artists sell their art to benefit abused and abandoned animals.

One of the ways art is used to help animals is through the Art Helping Animals blog where artists sell their art to the public and donate proceeds to animal shelters and organizations working to protect animals.

As a long time dog lover who recently got 3 chickens (laying hens) who have quickly become pets (they follow me around the yard) I'm happy to see groups using the Internet and blogs to such noble means.
