Mar 27, 2008 at 04:04PM I was contacted by News 2 today. Their reporter finds the Dam Scam to be interesting and promised to investigate.
Now to be perfectly honest I know this reporter will look into this story as promised, what I don't know is will the bosses allow it to run. My suggestion would be for as many people as possible to e-mail News 2 and encourage them to run with this story. Let 'em know I'm not the only one raising sand from the well.
A hint to the IT department at News 2: You'd be surprised how much traffic your website would have if all of your e-mails had built-in hyperlinks to your website. You can bet my e-mail has built in links to my websites. Would have saved me some time as well.

Billy, I will never understand why nothing has been printed in the newspapers or aired on television about this water situation. I thought one of the purposes of news media and television was to inform the public.
When the black reverends came forward with their information on the "50 boxes of records tossed in the dumpster", all of the media was on it quickly. To suddenly become silent on the dam scam is unbelieveable.
The City of Greensboro has lost my trust long ago and I will not believe what they publish unless I or someone that I trust verifies the information. I think we are getting ready to be hit with another blast of City of Greensboro information on the landfill to influence the public and shut down the idea of reopening the landfill.
I would urge the public to view the information with skepticism until it can be verfified by someone other than the city.
It looks bad on them for not looking into the aligations... How can one not think their hands are dirty too?
