US Running Out Of Special Forces
Yep, we've got to stay the course all right, can't pull out now even if the entire US Military has to die we must finish what we started. Anything less will force us to fight the war on US soil. Well guess what? Seems the top commando in the United States Special Forces has concerns that he is running out of people to send into battle. From today's news:
"The wars in Iraq and Afghanistan are making such heavy use of the nation's Green Berets and other elite warriors that they cannot fulfill their roles in other parts of the world, the military's top commando told The Associated Press.
"We're going to fewer countries, staying for shorter periods of time, with smaller numbers of people than historically we have done," Adm. Eric T. Olson said Monday in his first interview since becoming commander of U.S. Special Operations Command last July." Read it and weep.
And remember, US Special Forces CAN'T be recruited off the street and must be recruited from the already over used existing military units. Do the math.
