Trains And Tattooed Ladies
Sep 27, 2009 at 10:42AM A tattooed lady came to town
umbrella in her hand,
Said, "I've found the road to heaven
and think you understand
there's butterflies and bedroom eyes,
forest flowers never tell
but then I woke to find myself
riding on the train to Hell
And the tattooed lady was nowhere to be seen.
I first posted this link poem on the 19th of May, 2008 and like so many it has languished almost unread. Suddenly, for reasons unbeknownst to me it was read by 790 people in the last 24 hours so I thought I'd again move it to the top of the page.
I like the use of hyperlinks in poems because it allows me to write in added dimension in a way that isn't possible with print and because the hyperlinks allow me to highlight the poetic and artistic works of others. I hope you enjoy.

OOOH Billy, I will have to watch out for any tattooed ladies, from now on.....
If I see one I will run like the wind, as I will know that she is a warning that hell is near...(LOL)
Saying this though, I think my place will be in the oposite direction, on a fluffy white cloud, as I am and always have been an *angel* 0:-) ....can you see my halo? (LOL)
