The King Hasn't The Stones
Voting for the 2008 Poet Laureate of the Blogosphere continues but in the meantime please enjoy a poem.
King Of Poetry Hill, Part 8
The castle walls, though solid and tall,
were more like prison than fort.
And his enemies, to bring him down,
'twas nothing they'd not resort.
And all of his stones cast high and alone
were pulled from his own castle walls
'til one spring day when the king he did say,
"I'm causing my kingdom to fall."
The castle walls, though solid and tall,
were more like prison than fort.
And his enemies, to bring him down,
'twas nothing they'd not resort.
And all of his stones cast high and alone
were pulled from his own castle walls
'til one spring day when the king he did say,
"I'm causing my kingdom to fall."
The King of Poetry Hill is made possible by... Who am I kidding?

Ali,
It appears you're in the minority when it comes to getting it. But thanks for taking the time to figure it out. As it's part of a work in progress I've no idea where it's going.
