Farm Poetry

I never wanted to be a poet--
the King of Poetry Hill.
I never wanted to say I wrote it--
to strive for audience appeal.
I don't mean to say,
I'm it, you know it.
I don't mean to cause you alarm
but when it comes to being a poet
I think I'd do better to farm.
