Record-A-Chook: Social Networking For Chickens

Well sorta... Record-A_Chook is an online breeding management program for keeping an online database of your roosters, hens, pullets, young roos and bittys (Chicks) that also allows members to exchange info on various breeds  and behaviors.

Their members appear to include big name breeders, chicken farmers, backyard breeders and hobbiests. They also have info on turkeys, ducks, geese and quails. While the site is Austrailian based I did find Winston-Salem, North  Carolina turkey and goat breeder, Kinland Farm.

Hum... I wonder if anyone ever thought of breeding goats with legs so short they can't  jump? You know, sorta like a daschund that makes cheese and mows the lawn.
 
And I also wonder if anyone there might know why BB and Gus want to sleep on top of the chicken tractor in the rain.

I just found and read your 'chicken entries' Great blog you have going on. I did not know there was a link in the last entry you made to Energy Conservation so I went in and changed the template so now the links will show up in the text as they should have all along.
