My Thanksgiving Poem

I thought that I should pen a poem
about Pilgrims and Mom's pumpkin pie.
Something that would make you smile
or bring a tear to your eye.
Something that will make you laugh
at the turkeys on parade
but folks, this is all I've got:
Enjoy the holiday.

And don't eat any raw turkey.
