Mar 7, 2008 at 05:58PM Only in Greensboro would one expect to find concrete trees. Actually I would have never expected to see a concrete tree in Greensboro or anywhere else but a few weeks ago when going to the bakery on 4th Street I happened to look upon a tree that has stood next to the parking lot behind the Burger King on Summit Avenue for as long as I can remember and low and behold as evidenced by these photographs the tree is filled from bottom to top with concrete blocks. Looks like any old dying tree.
Until you look closer.
Closer still.
All the way to the top.

That is bizarre. I've never seen anything like that before.
What's really bizarre is that you and I have probably seen that very tree hundreds of times each.
