Stewart Pittman, Viewfinder Blues
Jun 24, 2005 at 08:25PM Highlighting Blogsboros Best-- Part 5
You know, there are some people you cant help but like. For me, Stewart Pittman of Viewfinder Blues is one of those people. Dubbed Lenslinger by the Blogoratti, Stewart is a professional video journalist or Photog for FOX8 television in nearby High Point, North Carolina.
Now a well known photojournalist throughout the nation, in his early days of TV news gathering, Stewart once found himself in the drink and in a video that was aired on the CBS, NBC, and ABC nightly news. (Make sure you find the video.)
Like I said before, Stewart and I hit it off from the beginning. While he had only been blogging a few days when he joined our group, I and others immediately recognized his talent and skill as a writer and photographer. Stewart reads BloggingPoet.com every day (I know his IP. Address.) and has been a quick study in the art of blogging. As a matter of fact, Stewart Pittman now leads a whole pack of photog bloggers from around the country and will no doubt be one of the biggest names in the Blogosphere very soon. His behind the scenes look at local television news provides insight like none other even though he is among some very strong competition from other photogs locally as well as nationwide.
Locally, Stewart became a big hit with Blogsboro bloggers when his station aired a report on the local blogging scene that featured Lewis Byers, Ed Cone, Roch Smith Jr., and yours truly. Thanks Stew, my site tracking loves you. (By the way, Ill be featuring Lewis, Ed, and Roch in the future.)
A husband and a father to two wonderful daughters I recently meet at a local fund raiser, Lenslinger has been an outstanding citizen of Blogsboro whose humble exterior hides an extremely bright and talented mind that dreams of a major label book deal. I think the publisher who turns him down would be a fool.
