What Do You Do With A Drunken Sailor?

Mary’s Rubber Ball

Mary had a rubber ball.
She bounced it everywhere.
She bounced it in an aeroplane
as she flew high in the air.
She bounced it on the sidewalk,
bounced it on a boat,
but when she bounced it in the river
her ball would only float... Away.

Goodbye Rubber Ball

Of course you can find this poem without the references to drunken sailors at my child-safe and Mom Approved (Mom may be out of town but she still approves) LaureatesKids.com. What, you got something better to do? If you did you wouldn't be reading blogs.
